Job summary
Tailor Made Sourcing Ltd are delighted to be recruiting for a well-established, growing Clothing Manufacturer in Nelson.
The purpose of the role is assisting the finance team with any account duties including maintaining purchase and sales ledgers, managing bank reconciliations and any other duties required. Ideally you will have experience working on ERP systems such as Navision or Business Central. There is also opportunity to work on a hybrid basis.
Roles & Responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities;
- Coding and processing of purchase invoices including organising payment runs and bank postings
- Vendor card management
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers
- Cashbook management
- Bank reconciliation
- Credit card statements/Petty cash reconciliation
- Perform double entry journal postings and technical accounting processes (accruals, prepayments, depreciation and intercompany transactions)
- Retail/EC invoice postings and reconciliation
- Non-current assets depreciation management
- Support Financial controller and CFO for month end closing processes, stock take and statutory audit preparation
- Support ad-hoc tasks/project as and when required by the management team
The ideal candidate will:
The ideal candidate will;
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar job
- A professional accounting qualification or an interest in studying towards it (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Understanding of accounting technical processes
- Good Excel skills i.e. Pivot tables, V Lookups etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Navision is advantageous
- Highly organized with great attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to stringent deadlines
- Ability to build good relationships, with both internal and external contacts
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Ability to prioritise workload, good organisational skills and a flexible approach
- Ideally experience of using NAVISION but not essential
