Job Description: Assembly Fitter/Test
Salary: £13.02 to £13.68
Location: Chatburn, Clitheroe
Hours: 8am – 4.30pm Monday – Thursday, 8am – 2pm Friday.
Tailor Made Sourcing are currently working with a successful engineering company who are looking to recruit an Assembly Fitter/Test Engineer. Within the company there exists a core of highly skilled, experienced, loyal and committed individuals many of which have been with the company for a number of years.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Building hydraulic cylinders
- Checking the cylinders comply with the specifications
- General engineering assembly/fitting
- Fault find and repair
- Pressure testing
The ideal candidate will:
- Previous mechanical fitting experience required.
- Experience of working in an engineering environment.
- The ability to use various types of measuring equipment.
- The ability to understand and read engineering drawings.
- A hands on methodical worker with high standards.
- Some previous experience with hydraulics preferred but not essential.
- Must be able to work to tight deadlines and high targets due to the fast
paced nature of the role. - Maintain good housekeeping.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and rules.
Rate of pay:
• Dependent upon experience.
Required experience:
• Working in an engineering environment: 5 years.
Hours of work:
• 8am – 4.30pm Monday – Thursday, 8am – 2pm Friday.
