Role: Business Development Manager Salary: up to £40k + commission Location: West London DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT MARKET? Tailor Made Sourcing are proud to be recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join a leading furnishing solution company in West London. Our client deliver and install all aspects of interior, and are a one-stop shop for the complete furnishing process to the lettings industry. The ideal candidate will have proven sales and negotiation experience, be proactive with the ability to build strong relationships. A background within property industry would also be an advantage. Working within this very busy team you will develop relations with, introduce new business from, and maintain continued relationships with landlords, property developers and student accommodation providers in the London region, showcasing products, services and capability.

Roles & Responsibilities

  •  Identify new business opportunities and arrange meetings to discuss products and services, with residential property professionals, across the UK
    • Plan and prepare presentations that showcase service offering, across all channels
    • Contribute ideas for the development of marketing material and sales strategy
    • Secure and manage new business opportunities to achieve revenue targets
    • Pipeline and opportunity reporting on a weekly basis
    • Maintain accurate records of all opportunities, sales, revenue, invoices
    • Represent the company at networking events, trade exhibitions and conferences
    • Use digital outreach to build networks via social media
    • Liaise with Operations regarding the delivery of replenishment, projects and design
    • Act as first point of contact for clientele
    • Conduct research to identify market trends and customer requirements
    • Conduct on-site project management and installation supervision as necessary
    • Provide quality after-sales support and continuous high levels of customer service
    • Attending pre-site meetings, agree and sign off T&Cs of service delivery
    • Arrange and attend de-brief meetings for residential projects
    • Ensuring project updates are recorded in a timely manner
    • Ensure all new leads are recorded on HubSpot CRM and contacts updated
    • Share your industry knowledge and contacts with the Sales team
    • Develop your own skills and seek opportunities for personal improvement

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Proven experience in a Business Development/Sales role
    • Strong organisational skills, managing a heavy workload
    • Exceptional communication skills, personal confidence and the ability to influence others
    • Intermediate to advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills
    • Meticulous written and verbal communication skills
    • Property industry experience ideal but not essential
