Job summary

Tailor made are excited to be working with a well-established aerospace company in Lancashire. With a £5m revenue they are a leader in their field and their varied product range is used by many brands across the world. They are seeking a Business Development Manager with proven experience within the aerospace industry. You will be engaging and professional with the ability to negotiate in a way that considers long term goals for the company and the stakeholders. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing accounts and identifying potential business opportunities to drive additional revenue.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining relationships amongst existing stakeholders
  • Seeking opportunities to drive additional revenue
  • Identifying opportunities for new partnerships, as well as maintaining long-term relationships whilst providing excellent standards of customer service
  • Working with partners and all stakeholders will be critical to ensure success
  • Working towards targets and business KPIs
  • Working closely with the Sales Director to plan and execute sales strategies

The ideal candidate will:

  • Experience within the aerospace, gas and oil or nuclear would be beneficial
  • Excellent customer service skills with experience whilst managing relationships with stakeholders of all levels
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Have a strong background in Business Development with a good track record of delivering results within aerospace
  • Able to travel and meet customers to build relationships
