Role: HR Administrator
Salary: up to £23,000
Location: Nelson
Hours: 7:30am – 4pm Monday – Thursday & 7:30am – 1pm Friday
Tailor Made Sourcing are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading manufacturing company who have been established over 100 years and employing over 600 staff. Our client design and manufacture products in their state-of-the-art facilities based in Nelson. They utilise the most technologically advanced software during the design process, complimented with the finest raw materials to create bespoke and innovative products.
Our client is seeking an experienced HR professional to join the team to support the day to day function of the HR department. This is a Temporary role with a view to be coming permanent.
Roles & Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities.
- Managing absences, maintaining daily absence reports, lead return to work interviews and manage the long-term absence procedure
- Taking full responsibility for right to work checks
- Handling disciplinary procedures and grievances
- Writing up and issuing contracts
- Maintaining the databases
- Liaising with the partnered recruitment agency on a daily basis, requesting temporary and permanent staff
- Carrying out monthly PPE checks (Health and Safety wear), arranging and managing hearing tests and booking training such as; Fork Lift Truck and First Aid courses
- Carrying out disciplinary hearings, issuing hearing invite letters and warning letters
- Minute taking and taking statements
- Arranging and holding exit interviews and maintaining leavers database

- Be from a manufacturing background (desirable)
- Be hardworking, dedicated and motivated
- Experience within HR is essential
- Experience handing disciplinaries and grievances
