Tailor Made are excited to be recruiting for a well-established leading manufacturing company in Lancashire. They are seeking an Interim Finance Manager to join their growing team for up to 9 months.
You will be responsible for the full P&L and Balance Sheets and will Manage the finance teams and aswell as take full financial responsibility for the Company Accounts. This is an 6-9 month contract position.
Roles & Responsibilities
The role:
- Manage cash flow and all payments
- Ensuring accuracy of all ledgers
- Working with external auditors to pull together the annual statutory and tax accounts
- Oversee all of the UK business to ensure financial controls are adhered to, recommending and implementing new controls, where required
- Completion of VAT reporting plus any other statutory reporting requirements
- Control of remittance statement and all debit queries
- Full monthly balance sheet reconciliation
- Purchase of foreign currency
- Management of banking relationship
- Management of the payroll process
- Liaison with company secretary
- Completion of Bankline monthly account reconciliations and tasks
- Responsibility for sales ledger, setting credit limits and minimising exposure
- Supporting the Managing Director on all financial matters
- Management of 2 or more direct reports
- Financial management of several accounts
The ideal candidate will:
About you:
- Previous experience in Management Accounts or as a Finance Manager
- Experience of full P&L responsibility
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of numeracy, excellent attention to detail
- Good IT skills, especially Excel
- Experience in a manufacturing company would be ideal
- Has managed and coached finance team in a challenging environment
- Happy to work on a contract basis
