The Role:
– The processing of the weekly temporary payroll following the process outlined & getting everything done within the deadlines required – follow payroll process & weekly tasks
– Adding new starters
– Ensuring the leavers are updated accurately
– Sending & chasing timesheets from clients
– Processing changes from HMRC mailbox
– Liaising with internal staff regarding the payroll
– Liaising with temporary staff; sorting out queries, helping their understanding of the payslip etc
– Processing pensions and auto enrolment
– Any other requirements that are made in relation to payroll
About you:
– 2 years’ experience in processing payroll
– Excellent record keeping
– Excellent administrative skills
– Good level of English & Maths – ideally GCSE B & above
– Ideally qualification in payroll such as CIPP (not essential)
– Excellent organisational skills
– Excellent use of Excel
– High standard of communication skills especially telephone & email
– Good standard of computer skills
– Willingness to attend training & develop knowledge
– Ability to use of Sage Payroll, Xero (payroll) and other accounting or CRM software – not essential training can be given on all of these
